Community Holiday Light Show

Admission to the show is $10 per car and $20 per mini-bus/15 passenger van. This is a cash only event.

Best in Show Vote - Each builder designates a non-profit that they decorate their spot for. Each vehicle that drives through the show receives one ballot. At the end of the route the ballot is turned in. The top displays receive a monetary donation to the non-profit of their choice. The 2021 winners were: first place, Trophy and Sign Center; second place, Dan River FFA; third place, Old House Life & Ramsey Restoration; fourth place, The Hughes Center; fifth place, Goodyear; and sixth place, Danville Krampus.
Volunteer Gate Workers - Volunteer gate workers receive a portion of the money from each vehicle that attends the show the night they work. If your group is interested in working a night, please contact Taylor at (434) 793-4636.
Display Builders - Businesses, organizations, and families are encouraged to build a display in the Community Holiday Light Show to help spread the holiday cheer to all that visit the show. It is also a great way to support a local non-profit! There is no cost to enter a display. Over 12,000 people visit the show annually! In 2021 a total of $17,700 was donated back to the community between the gate workers and the Best in Show contest. 12,000 people attended in 3,189 cars and 23 buses. Over 300 volunteers helped make this event a success! Thank you to all of the visitors, volunteers, and builders that contributed to this event!
