The Municipal Building and all other city of Danville administrative offices will be closed on Monday in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.
In addition, the public library and community recreation centers will be closed.
The James F. Ingram Justice Center (courthouse) will be closed on both Friday, Jan. 18, in observance of Robert E. Lee and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson Day, and on Monday, Jan. 21, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Administrative offices, the library, recreation centers and the courthouse will reopen on Tuesday.
Danville Transit will not operate on Monday, but Danville Regional Airport will be open.
Household refuse collection and yard waste collection will be provided on Monday as regularly scheduled.
Danville Utilities workers will answer emergency calls and restore service as needed on Monday. The water and wastewater treatment plants will be staffed and operated as usual.
