Danville Utilities contractor line crews will begin construction Wednesday on the Brantley-Airside transmission/distribution line rebuild and upgrade project.
The project begins at City of Danville Public Works Department grounds on South Boston Road and extends to Tom Fork Road.
The target date for completion of the project is October.
During the construction, there will be periods when vehicular and/or pedestrian traffic will be routed around the construction equipment and area by means of cones and flagmen.
