If you are looking for something new, then consider performances of a variety of musical numbers by Averett University’s theater and music departments.

Food lovers can learn new recipes as Chef at the Market returns to the Community Market. Sports fans will enjoy high school, college volleyball and college football. At Averett University, in addition to the football game, kids can enjoy a free bounce house, photos with mascots, AU tattoos by cheerleaders and an invitation onto the field at halftime for Cougar Rumble. There will be free admission for ages 17 & under.

GW FOOTBALL

The weather forecast calls for mostly clear skies and cooler temperatures in the mid-60s at kickoff.

The lineup continues in the afternoon with Accidental Astronauts, a second showing of National Parks Adventure, and Zulu Patrol.
