The third movie of the Centra Summer Movie Outdoor Series will be shown Friday, June 22, in Ballou Park.
The movie title will be “Secondhand Lions,” a family-friendly comedy/drama that tells the story of an introverted young boy who is sent live with his eccentric uncles on a farm in Texas. The movie was released in 2003 and stars Haley Joel Osment, Robert Duvall and Michael Caine.
Other movies scheduled this summer are “Breakfast at Tiffany’s (July 13 in the downtown River District), “Cars II” (July 20 in Ballou Park) and “The Rookie” (Aug. 10 at Legion Field in Dan Daniel Memorial Park).
All shows are free and held on Friday evenings from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
