[ARCHIVED] Update on Construction at the Crossing at the Dan

Construction work at the Crossing at the Dan is progressing as scheduled. When completed, the area will include a brick paver main drive, two (2) rain gardens and pedestrian and bicycle trails throughout.

Installation of new curb and gutter treatments and new LED light fixtures has been completed. Work this week includes installation of brick pavers, energizing the LED light fixtures, and grading work for the Digital Dome Theater project at the Danville Science Center. Also a new, wider entrance is being installed on the west side of the Community Market.

Parking for events at the Crossing at the Dan is available at Newton's Landing, the Community Market back lot, and along Craghead Street.
