Due to the construction on Main Street, the Riverview Rotary Christmas Parade will be taking a different route on Saturday than it has in years past.
The parade, which will take place on Dec. 8 beginning at 6 p.m., will start at the intersection of Main and Broad and will travel on Main, turning right on South Ridge Street across from the U.S. Post Office. The parade will end in the parking lot of Galileo High School.
The staging area for floats will be on Broad and Cleveland Streets while marching bands will meet on Rison Street.
So far, more than 170 entries have registered, making this one of the largest parades in recent years. For more information, call 793-4636.
