Beginning Thursday, eastbound travel on South Boston Road will be reduced to one lane to allow for the final paving of the right-turn lane from Riverpointe Road to Williamson Road.
These restrictions will affect lanes only in the eastbound direction while the contract crews are working. The Danville Public Works Department advises motorists to expect major traffic delays.
The final paving is expected to take three days barring unforeseen delays. Following the final paving, all eastbound lanes will be opened to traffic.
Adams Construction Co. will perform the work for Marshall Construction Co.
