1. I just moved to a new house, can I enroll in the Equal Pay Plan?

Not immediately, you must have at least 12-months billing history at the service location to be eligible for the Equal Pay Plan.

2. I heard there is an additional 10% charge for the Equal Pay Plan; is this true?

No, there is no additional charge for the Equal Pay Plan. Previously, there was 10% added to the Equal Pay average to account for seasonal consumption charge fluctuations, but this charge no longer applies.

3. Can I enroll in the Equal Pay Plan over the phone?

A customer may initiate enrollment in the EPP by telephone, fax, e-mail, or in person, but must sign a written agreement before the plan can be started. At the customer’s request, an EPP agreement can be mailed with an enclosed business-reply envelope for its return. The agreement includes the service location address and account number, and sets forth the amount of the equal pay and the start date.
