The City of Danville has been using the touch screen voting system since June 2005. The
Help America Vote Act of 2002 required us to replace the old lever type voting machines that had been in use since 1957. The citizens of Danville have found the voting machines easy to use. The
Patriot Voting System by Unilect demo gives instructions on the use of the machine and is very informative.
You may stop by our office at 515 Main Street to try out the touch screen voting machines. Come by any time between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
