Jane Hawker is the Administrative Assistant to the Commonwealth’s Attorney, a position she has held for 39 years.  She is in charge of all administrative work in the office and supervises all of the support functions which consists of preparation of all work involving the prosecution of cases, Victim Witness Coordinator Program which includes a Sexual and Domestic Violence program, and the collection of fines, costs and restitution.  In addition, she assists the Commonwealth Attorney in the trial of cases in the Circuit Court.  She has been employed by the Commonwealth of Virginia for over 48 years and by this office since 1970.
	Patty Coleman handles indictments, appellate briefs, and subpoenas. She joined our office in 1998.
	Jewel Saunders handles indictments, discovery in all courts, subpoenas, asset forfeitures and running criminal and DMV records on the Virginia Criminal Information Network. She joined our office in 2002.
	Debra Lewis handles docketing, research into prior convictions, forensic laboratory reports, and running criminal and DMV records on the Virginia Criminal Information Network. She first joined our office in 2000 and has been full-time since 2005.
	Paula Powell handles discovery in all courts, operator license restorations, and running criminal and DMV records on the Virginia Criminal Information Network. She joined our office in 2006.
	Mickgael Peatross handles warrant intake, docketing, maintaining the office’s case file archives, parole and probation indexing, and running criminal and DMV records on the Virginia Criminal Information Network. She also received an A.S. from Danville Community College in Administrative Support Technology—Legal in 2007 and has a certificate in legal assisting and real estate abstracting.
	Brandie Berger handles discovery in General District Court, indictments, and running criminal and DMV records on the Virginia Criminal Information Network. She also received an A.S. from Danville Community College in Administrative Support Technology—Legal in 2006 and has a certificate in legal assisting and real estate abstracting
	Sandra Franklin handles the Commonwealth's collections. She handles fines, costs, and restitution for Circuit Court. She collects delinquent fines and costs for General District Court. She collectsdelinquent fines and costs and restitution for Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Courts. She files show causes in Circuit Court and General District Court. She also handles community service credit for Circuit Court and General District Court. She joined our office in 1997.
