 Glenn Slayton, a thirty-one year veteran of law enforcement, was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on Febuary 1, 2008.  He joined the Danville Sheriff’s Office on May 15, 1977.  Before coming to the Sheriff's Office,  Lt. Slayton worked in Juvenile Corrections.

Lieutentant Slayton is responsible for the Civil Process Division and Project Lifesaver.
