Sallie Payne is twenty year veteran of the Danville Sheriff’s Office.  In February of 1995 she was promoted to the position of Sergeant.  She was promoted in 1998 to the position of Lieutenant over Transportation.  She held that position for two years.  In 2000 she was promoted to Lieutenant over the records office.

Other positions she has held are transportation, and control room operator.  She has performed each of these jobs to the best of her ability
