Steve Salmon is a thirty year veteran of the Danville Sheriff’s Office.  He joined the department in February 1977 and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 1981.  In 1990, he was promoted to Lieutenant Assistant Jail Administrator.  In July 2002 he was promoted to rank of Captain Jail Administrator.
