Wireless Internet Access


The Danville Public Library offers free wireless access.

Our wireless network is called "Public Internet."
  • There is no password. 
  • The Library's wireless network is not secure; information sent from or to your device can be captured by anyone else with a wireless device and the appropriate software. 
  • No guarantee can be provided that you will be able to make a wireless connection. 
  • The Library assumes no responsibility for the safety of equipment or for laptop configurations, security, or data files resulting from connection to the library's network.

PUBLIC-USE Computers


The Library provides computers with Internet access.
  • To use an public-use computer, you must log on with your own valid library card and PIN or purchase a guest pass for $2 ($1 during COVID-19 response).
  • You can use public-use computers up to two hours each day with the option to purchase an additional two hours for $2 (1 hour during COVID-19 response).
