Danville Public Library now has a Little Free Library at three locations. The newest location, adopted by the Danville Historical Society, is in front of the Professional Building on Main Street.
“The Historical Society is very excited to adopt this Little Free Library and be a part of the library’s initiative,” said Sarah Latham, president of the society.
Little Free Libraries are made possible by Danville Regional Foundation and Danville Public Library.
Little Free Libraries are units shaped like bird houses filled with books supplied by adopting agencies. The books are free to the public, who are also encouraged to add their own books to the collection.
