Despite adverse weather, the Danville Science Center’s new Digital Dome construction is moving along and should be completed by the fall of 2013.
Jeff Liverman, director of the Danville Science Center, said when construction is completed, it will offer a new world of exploration, all from Danville. The dome will offer views ranging from outer space to underwater views of oceans complete with fish. Liverman said the dome will include the latest high definition technology and Dolby surround sound.
The dome will be open to the public and school groups too.
