The Danville Farmers’ Market will open for the season on May 4 at 7:30 a.m. at the Danville Community Market facility on Craghead Street.
A long standing tradition, the Farmers’ Market is home to over 60 vendors selling home-grown vegetables, freshly baked breads and pastries and much more. The market will be open every Saturday May – October from 7:30 a.m. to noon.
Live music will be featured during the season opener on May 4 and the first 800 people through the door will receive a free tomato plant.
