The Danville Transit System will initiate fee and service schedule changes on Thursday, Aug. 1. New route and schedule guides are available from bus drivers and at the Transfer Center located at 515 Spring St.
The new guide identifies that the fixed-route, half-fare discount period will be from 6 a.m. until noon, Monday through Saturday, and one child 12 years old and younger can ride free when using the fixed-route or Handivan service with a paying adult.
In addition, two children 12 years old and younger can ride free when using the Reserve A Ride service with a paying adult.
