The Make Danville Shine photo contest is coming to a close. The contest recognizes citizens who spend time beautifying their home and neighborhood during the month of May, which the City of Danville has designed as clean-up, paint-up and fix-up month.
The contest is being held by the Danville Register & Bee. To enter the contest, submit a before and after photo of your home improvement at www.godanriver.com and you will be eligible to win a prize from one of the contest sponsors, Danville Pain and Supply and Haymore Landscaping and Garden Center.
To participate in the cleanup campaign, simply take an hour, take a day or take a weekend to beautify your home or neighborhood. And then, take a photo to enter the contest.
