Danville Parks and Recreation’s series of free, outdoor concerts moves to the Main Street Plaza this week. Danville musician Norm Aquilo will perform a mix of classic rock and Top 40 hits on Thursday beginning at 6:30 p.m.
With the move to the Main Street Plaza, Parks and Recreation have coined the name “Music on Main” for the concert series. Additional shows in the series are scheduled on July 17, July 31 and Aug. 21.
The event is open to the public. Be sure to bring a blanket or a chair. In case of rain, concert will be relocated indoors at the Danville Community Market at 629 Craghead St.
The series replaces the Enchanted Evening concert series held at Ballou Park.
