The Municipal Building and all other city of Danville administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
In addition, the public library and the James F. Ingram Justice Center (courthouse) will be closed on Friday.
Danville Transit will not operate Friday, but Senior Transportation will transport passengers for dialysis.
The Danville Regional Airport will be open. Normal garbage service will be provided on Friday. Danville Utilities workers will answer emergency calls and restore service as needed.
The library will reopen on Saturday. Danville Transit will resume operations as well on that day.
Administrative offices and the courthouse will reopen on Monday, July 7.
