The Chef at the Market series resumes on Saturday, June 18, with Gingy Blakely, a certified holistic health coach and Pilates/yoga instructor who specializes in creating meals with raw foods.
She will prepare three nutritionally delicious, plant-based (vegan and gluten free) dishes using ingredients that can be purchased fresh at the Farmers' Market. The dishes will be her recipes for early summer gazpacho, raw Asian stir-fry and Thai cucumber green salad.
The event begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 11 a.m. It is free and open to the public.
The farmers' market is open every Saturday through October from 7:30 a.m. to noon.
