The Danville Fire Department responded with three engines, one ladder truck a chief officer and one support unit to residential structure fire at 1327 Glenn St. Upon arrival units found a residential structure with moderate smoke coming from the basement. It was quickly determined that all occupants were outside and crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly. One occupant was treated for fire related injuries by fire department personnel and transported to Danville Regional Medical Center by the Danville Life Saving Crew. The cause of the fire was determined to be the result of children playing with a cigarette lighter. Crews were on the scene for approximately one hour and damage to the residence was minimal.
