[ARCHIVED] Jam on the Dan will feature tribute bands

Music lovers can rock on the river Saturday, July 16, when Danville Harvest Jubilee’s Jam on the Dan returns to the Carrington Pavilion.

This year’s tribute show will feature Head Games, A Tribute to Foreigner; Hysteria, a Greatest Hits Tribute to Def Leppard, and Bad Inc., A Bad Company/Paul Rodgers Tribute.

Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and the show starts at 5 p.m. Tickets cost $12 and can be purchased online at, at the Danville Welcome Center or by calling 434-793-4636. All seating is general admission. Tickets available at the gate while supplies last. Lawn chairs permitted in designated areas. No umbrellas.

Jam on the Dan is sponsored by Budweiser, Coca-Cola, Centra Medical Group, Danville Toyota Scion, The Homeplace Vineyard, URW Community Federal Credit Union, Big Sky Rents and Events, the City of Danville and Texas Steakhouse and Saloon.
