Danville Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 904 Colquhoun St. at 22:00 hrs . Upon arrival units found smoke showing from the exterior of the structure. Witnesses reported that all occupants were out of the structure. Crews made entry inside the structure and found fires burning in four different locations. Crews extinguished fires that had caused moderate damage to the house. Three engines, one ladder truck, a safety officer along with a command officer responded to the incident. The fire marshal's office was called in to investigate and the fire was determined to be arson. The Fire Marshall has charged John Lee Petty of the residence with arson and he is being detained in the city jail.
