A community meeting will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Pepsi Building as part of a River District bicycle and pedestrian study.
The Danville Urbanized Area Metropolitan Planning Organization and the City of Danville are sponsoring the study. Public input is being sought regarding the types of improvements that would make it safer and easier to bike and walk in the River District. Crosswalk improvements, traffic calming, bicycle lanes, wayfinding information and enhanced connections to the river will be discussed at the meeting.
The meeting will be held in an open house format. Join Danville MPO and the City of Danville to learn about the project, identify existing problems and share improvement ideas. The Pepsi Building is located at 661 Craghead St.
