Next week, Danville Utilities customers will be asked to participate in a survey about their utilities services and their opinions of Danville Utilities.
The Center for Research and Public Policy (CRPP) will conduct the survey for Danville Utilities. CRPP has conducted numerous similar surveys for utilities across the country. Customers may receive a phone call from a CRPP surveyor during the time period of May 15 – 26. Customers are encouraged to give open and honest feedback.
“Your opinion is important to us,” Meagan Baker, Key Accounts Manager said. “We encourage you to take the time to answer these questions, which will allow us to know how you, our customers, feel about the job that we do.”
Baker said the survey would be brief, lasting no longer than ten minutes. The focus of the questions will be on the quality of service, reliability of service, customer service, and customer satisfaction.
All questions will be about Danville Utilities. Customers will not be asked to provide any personal data, including social security and credit card numbers.
CRPP was established in 1979 and is based out of Chester, Vermont but has offices nationwide. CRPP has extensive experience supporting similar utilities, particularly in Virginia. Additionally, CRPP manages polling institutes at a dozen major colleges and universities nationwide. The firm has built a solid reputation for objectivity, accuracy, and responsiveness.
Danville Utilities provides natural gas, water, wastewater and telecommunications services in Danville and distributes electricity to approximately 42,000 customer locations in a 500-square-mile service territory covering Danville, the southern third of Pittsylvania County, and small portions of Henry and Halifax counties.
