UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the repairs to the Riverwalk Trail boardwalk behind Holiday Inn Express on Riverside Drive will take longer than expected.
That section of the trail will remain closed until further notice. Trail users are encouraged to plan their trips accordingly as the boardwalk is impassable at this time.

The Riverwalk Trail boardwalk located behind Holiday Inn Express will be closed for repairs Monday, May 15 through Thursday, May 18.
Trail users need to plan accordingly, as no one will be permitted to cross the boardwalk. The Riverwalk can be accessed downstream of the boardwalk at the Biscuitville or Union Street Overlook trailheads or upstream at the Sandy Creek Trailhead.
Danville Parks and Recreation apologizes for any inconvenience.
