Danville Fire Department Units responded to a reported structure fire located at 442 Northmont Blvd. On scene, Fire personnel observed 3 victims with minor burns; two with burns on the feet and one with burns to the hands. The fire was out on arrival but light smoke was present. Danville Fire Dept. and Danville Life Saving Crew personnel treated the patients who were transported to Danville Regional Medical Center. The cause of the fire was unattended cooking and injuries resulted during the occupant’s attempt to extinguish the fire. There was one adult and five children in the house at the time of the incident. The house suffered minor damage to the kitchen. Three engines, a ladder truck, a safety officer, one Battalion Chief and Fire Marshall responded to the incident and remained on scene approximately 45 mins.
