[ARCHIVED] Harvest Jubilee presents Jam on the Dan concert

Danville Harvest Jubilee will present Jam on the Dan, a rock music concert, on Saturday, July 15, at the Carrington Pavilion. The show will feature Wrocksnake, a Whitesnake tribute band out of Atlanta.

Jeff Mullins is lead vocalist for Wrocksnake. He will cover Whitesnake songs such as “Here I Go Again,” “Still of the Night” and “Fool For Your Loving.” Whitesnake is a rock band formed in England in 1978 by David Coverdale.

Gates open at 6 p.m. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. with the Roanoke-based band Hardrive Crew covering rock bands such as ZZ top, Aerosmith, George Thorogood, Billy Idol, VanHalen, Kiss, Guns N Roses, and Metallica.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance by calling the Welcome Center at 434-793-4636 and in person at the Welcome Center located at 645 River Park Drive. Tickets also will be able to purchase at the gate at no additional cost.

No outside food or drink allowed. Food and drink vendors normally do not take plastic. There is an ATM outside the facility you can use before you enter.

Jam on the Dan is sponsored by Bud Light, Coca Cola, City of Danville, URW Community Federal Credit Union, Big Sky Rents and Events, Centra Medical Group, The Homeplace Vineyard and Texas Steakhouse and Saloon.
