The Danville Fire Department is teaming up with Danville Public Schools to collect school supplies for local area students in need. Donations to “Fill the Fire Truck” will be accepted from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 22, at Walmart.
“Fill the Fire Truck” events also will be held on Saturday, July 29, at Kmart and on Saturday, Aug. 5, at a location to be determined. The hours will be from 9 a.m. to noon on both dates.
The Fire Department also will accept donations at any of its fire stations during these hours.
