The Danville Fire Department responded to a structure at 465 Southland Dr just after 3 am this morning. Upon arrival units found heavy fire showing from the attic of a residential structure. It was confirmed that all occupants were out of the structure and crews began an aggressive interior attack. The fire originated in the garage area of the structure and extended into the residence. The house sustained heavy fire and smoke damage. Two occupants were displaced and are going to be staying with family members. Five engines, one ladder truck, one safety officer, a chief officer and a fire marshal responded with 23 personnel. Units were on scene for approximately four hours.
