Three Engines, One Ladder, Battalion Chief, and a Safety Officer responded a report of a structure fire at 151 Pearl Street at approximately 25 minutes after midnight on 12-26-2017. Upon investigation initial fire crews found a small fire that originated from a ceiling fan inside the home. The fire was extinguished by fire personnel in short order and the rest of the structure was checked for fire extension. The home sustained moderate structural and some water damage in one room. Cause of the fire was determined to be a electrical malfunction. Fire crews remained on the scene for 1 hour and 45 minutes. There were no injuries reported.
