Danville Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 753 Mt Cross Rd. this morning at 8:53 am. Units arrived to find a small residential structure with fire in the kitchen. Crews entered the structure to find a fire confined to the stove. Fire was extinguished with no fire damage to the structure and minimal smoke damage to rest of the structure. Three engines, one ladder truck, a safety officer and a chief officer responded to the incident. No injuries were reported. Units were on scene approximately a half hour.
