On March 14, 2018 at 1:20 pm, the Danville Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 387 West Thomas Street. When fire units arrived on the scene, they found a small one-story house heavily involved in fire. Fire Fighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly and without any injuries.
The Fire Marshal’s Office investigated the cause of the fire and found it to be accidental, caused by an electric space heater. The occupant was not home when the fire occurred.
The Danville Fire Department responded 19 personnel to the scene including, three engines, one ladder, and four support vehicles.
