Danville Fire Department along with Danville Life Saving Crew and Danville Police Department responded to multiple calls for assistance due to high water. Nineteen people were assisted due to flooding on Riverside Drive. This was due to high water blocking the parking lots and people driving into high water on Riverside Drive.
We also had nine people and one dog assisted on Parker Road due to high water that was around their homes. Danville Fire Department activated its Technical Rescue Team to assist and Danville Life Saving Crew water rescue team was also activated.
