The Danville Children’s Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, at the Carrington Pavilion. The event will feature interactive arts and entertainment. Explore new ideas, see stories come to life or discover the artist in you while participating in music, drama and art.
Free admission, crafts and children's rides. Food concessions and other vendor items will be available for purchase.
This year's festival will have new educational and fun areas. Some of the activities will be the kid's fitness classes and yoga, Fish the Magish, Teddy Bear Clinic, and Boy Scouts Pine Wood Derby Racing.
The festival also will feature dinosaurs from Dakota and Friends. A few features of their show is a baby dinosaur hatching from its egg, ride on dinosaurs, walking dinosaurs and many more!
The Danville Science Center will have free admission during the Children's Festival thanks to generous support from The Hughes Center.
We are also bringing back favorites from the Children's Festival last year, such as the Splash Zone, and the Scrap Exchange Make'n'Take program.

- Tubing Trips on the Dan River - 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m.

- Hot Asana Yoga Sessions - 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m.
- MedExpress Teddy Bear Clinic - every thirty minutes starting at 10:30 a.m.
