[ARCHIVED] Harvest Jubilee presents Jam on the Dan concert

Danville Harvest Jubilee will present Jam on the Dan, a rock music concert, on Saturday, July 15, at the Carrington Pavilion. The show will feature Black Stone Cherry, a Kentucky-based hard rock quartet.

Formed in 2001 in Edmonton Kentucky, Black Stone Cherry is a hard rock band who has shared the stage with a diverse roster of superstars including Def Leppard, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bad Company, Motorhead, and ZZ Top. Most recently, Black Stone Cherry has released its sixth studio album, “Family Tree.”

The show will also feature regional favorite Jive Mother Mary and Kasey Tyndall.

Tickets for the Jam on the Dan are $20 for general admission and $30 for premium reserved. Tickets can be purchased online at DanvilleHarvestJubilee.org, by calling the Welcome Center at 434-793-4636, and in person at the Welcome Center located at 645 River Park Drive.

Gates will open at 6:00 pm. Chairs and blankets are allowed in the lawn area. No outside food or drink is allowed. Food, beer, soft drinks and water will be available for purchase inside the Pavilion. There is an ATM outside the Pavilion entrance. In the past food vendors have not accepted credit/debit cards.

Jam on the Dan is sponsored by Bud Light, City of Danville, Coca-Cola, URW Federal Credit Union, Steve Padgett Danville Honda / Performance Off Road, Canteen, Homeplace Vineyards, Centra, Big Sky Rents and Events, Comfort Inn and Suites.
