Due to the recent rain amounts, Parks and Recreation reminds Riverwalk Trail users to avoid flooded sections of the trail.
While the majority of the trail is clear of flood waters, low-lying sections could be under water or close to being underwater and pose a potential danger. Flood waters are never safe and should be avoided at all costs.
Parks and Recreation maintenance crews are monitoring the trail and placing appropriate signage; however, if you see a section underwater with no signage, please avoid.
