The Danville Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 1927 Halifax Rd just before 1am . Three engines, one ladder truck a safety officer and a chief officer responded. Upon arrival units found a downstairs apartment, in a two story apartment building, with heavy smoke coming from the door. All occupants were outside the building with one occupant suffering from minor burns and smoke inhalation.
