The Danville Transit System will offer free bus service on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, for all fixed route and reservation based trips. Passengers interested in reserving door-to-door service for the Handivan, Reserve A Ride or Senior operations are encouraged to contact Danville Transit at 799-5144 to make a reservation as early as possible due to capacity constraints.
City Council voted earlier this month to approve the free bus service to encourage interested persons to vote.
