Main Street will be closed at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, for the Riverview Rotary Christmas Parade. Organizers are asking residents to remove their cars from the street by 1:30 p.m.
The parade, set to begin at 3 p.m., will follow its traditional parade route, starting at the Intersection of Rison and Main streets and ending at Main and Craghead streets.
This year’s theme is “Christmas Story Book.” To avoid large gaps in the line, there will not be a performance area; all floats will be judged prior to the start of the parade. Winners will be designated with a sign or vehicle magnet.
