The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) is working with City of Danville Police Department to conduct a voluntary comprehensive operational assessment of the Police Department. This is a multilayered analysis, which requires a critical review of information from both internal and external sources to identify future needs and direction. Accordingly, IACP is seeking input from the public concerning how well the police department performs its function in serving the City of Danville. IACP is interested in hearing positive comments, as well as constructive feedback and suggestions to improve the department, so that the Danville Police Department can ensure they are meeting the needs of the community. A public meeting has been set up, and IACP and the Danville Police Department would like to invite you to attend to share your thoughts and comments.
