[ARCHIVED] Offices will be closed on Martin Luther King Day

The Municipal Building and all other City of Danville administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

In addition, the public library will be closed. Danville Transit will not operate. 

The James F. Ingram Justice Center (courthouse) will be closed on Friday, Jan. 18, in observance of Robert E. Lee and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson Day, and closed again on Monday, Jan. 21, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Household trash and yard waste will be collected on Monday as regularly scheduled.

Danville Regional Airport will be open. Danville Utilities workers will answer emergency calls and restore service as needed.

The administrative offices, library and courthouse will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 22. Danville Transit services will resume that day as well.
