The Danville Fire Department responded to a possible structure fire at 330 Henry Street this morning at 7:27am. Apparatus arrived to find moderate smoke coming from the front door and a roof vent. Engine 1 entered the building and found a small fire at the back of a stove that had also ignited the cabinets. The fire was controlled quickly in part by an immediate call to 911 by the occupants. There was smoke damage to parts of the house. The stove was removed from the residence. The fire investigation concluded the fire was caused by an electrical issue in the stove. There were no injuries. Two occupants are being helped by the local Red Cross. The DFD responded with three engines, one ladder, safety officer, and battalion chief. Personnel were on scene for 45 minutes.
