Danville Police Chief Scott Booth and officers of the Danville Police Department will hold a community engagement walk today, 04-15-2019 at Westover Manor Trailer Ct. and Westover Trailer Ct. This will be the fourth community walk of 2019. The walk will begin at 4:00 PM with staff deploying from in front of 4010 Westover Dr. The police officers will be joined by other community partners to include members of the Fire Department, Danville Sheriff’s Office, and Sacred Heart Church.
This endeavor broadens the department's goal to engage multiple neighborhoods citywide, and focus our efforts on crime and safety. Teams will go door to door as time and weather permit. These walks serve as a platform to build public trust and develop positive relationships between officers and community members.
