A Danville grand jury indicted four people with additional charges in relation to the murder of a 17-year-old on Arnett Blvd. that took place on, March 10, 2019. The charges are as follows:
Justin Montel Jones, Age 21
18.2-32 – First degree murder
18.2-53.1 – Use or display of firearm in committing felony
18.2-308.2 – Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
Antonio Lamonta Burton, Age 21
18.2-32 – First degree murder
18.2-53.1 – Use or display of firearm in committing felony
Ladreka Shawnta Brandon, Age 33
18.2-19 Accessory after the fact to homicide
Germany Bryontez Carter, Age 23
18.2-308.2 – Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
Jones, Burton, and Carter remain in the Danville City Jail and Brandon was released on bond.
