The Danville Farmers’ Market will open on Wednesday afternoons beginning July 3, with locally grown fruits and vegetables, beef, pork, chicken, baked goods and handmade gifts available for purchase.
The afternoon hours are 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will continue through August.
Located in the Community Market building at 629 Craghead St., the farmers market also is open 7:30 a.m. to noon every Saturday from May through October.
The farmers' market accepts SNAP/EBT Cards for fresh, locally grown produce, baked goods, plants, seeds and more.
