An arrest has been made in the weekend shooting on Hughes St.
Today charges were brought against 18-year-old Rayshawn Wa-Heim Bennett. He was charged with use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and shooting into an occupied building. He was arrested this evening without incident and is currently being held in the Danville City Jail without bond. Bennett was the man reported to have sustained gunshot injuries in the original release. His booking photo is being withheld at this time for investigation purposes. His photo will be released once it is appropriate to do so. The investigation is continuing.
